And the winner is....Welcome to the Squire Fan Club Newsletter!

Welcome to the new newsletter, where we reveal the winner of the ‘Every Trick (In The Book Of Love)’ white label Test Pressing competition!

We’ve had so many responses from these competitions and we realise how sought after these items are, and we’ve tried all sorts of interesting ways to set the competitions, from hidden history question, to identifying the sound on the record, to being on the mailing list!

This time we decided to ask you to post photos of your copy of the ‘Every Trick’ record on the Squire Facebook Group page, or alternatively, if you don’t use Facebook then email your picture to our email address! We had some brilliant responses, from photos of entire Squire collections, to pets, Squire press cuttings and even the record next to chunks of Berlin Wall! You can see some of the photos here, or by clicking the photo below.

Before we announce the winner, a quick reminder that if you enjoy reading these newsletters but come direct, or follow a link through Facebook or Bandcamp etc. we encourage you to join the mailing list as this is the key to joining in with these special competitions, receiving news first, getting 'first dibs' on limited edition issues, special merch, information on rare stuff and exclusive links to the rare and exciting archive material, and first listen to the new recordings in the pipeline that you might otherwise miss! So please subscribe in the link at the bottom of the page, or the pop up window.

Finally, thank you to everyone who bought the latest release, ‘Every Trick (In The Book Of Love)’. There's a link to the product page on the picture.

Many of you bought both orange and blue colour versions, and they make a great set, and some have invested further in the previous singles of the collection. There is a new release in the series due very soon so if you want to make sure of collecting the set, be quick with the previous releases! We’ve completely sold out of ‘Eight Miles High’, ‘Get Ready To Go’ red and green coloured vinyl, and ‘My Mind Goes Round In Circles’ blue and milky clear coloured vinyl singles. We only have a few bubblegum pink ‘No Time Tomorrow’ so be quick if you’ve been pondering what to get next!

Well, today is the day we announce the winner of the competition in the video below. You can see all the action and Anthony revealing the name of the lucky winner in the video below, followed by a surprise from Chanel with her interpretation of ‘Every Trick’!!!

All the best from Squire - and good luck!!!
