It’s competition time!

Hello and welcome to the latest Squire Fan Club Newsletter. It’s competition time!

The prize is a special White Label Test Pressing of ‘Passengers On Trains LP!

If you enjoy reading these newsletters but come direct via a link on Facebook or Bandcamp etc. we encourage you to join the mailing list as this is the key to joining in with these special competitions, receiving news first, getting 'first dibs' on limited edition issues, special merch, information on rare stuff and exclusive links to the rare and exciting archive material, and first listen to the new recordings in the pipeline that you might otherwise miss!

We’ve had so many responses from the previous competitions that we realise how sought after these items are! But we have to restrict the the draw to all Squire fans on the mailing list! So, now is the time! Please subscribe in the link at the bottom of the page, or the pop up window.

As we explained many times before, White Label Test Pressings are very special editions of the record ‘hand pressed’ on the most superior grade black vinyl. Only a few are made and they are used to check the quality of the 'cut' before approving for final manufacture. This is actually the first LP size Test Pressing we have used in a competition! They are heavier than normal LP vinyl discs, 190 grams instead of the standard 140 grams, are of the highest quality and fidelity, and very hard to come by. Hence they are the ultimate prized possession of avid record collectors!

Finally, thank you to everyone who have ordered the latest release, Passengers On Trains! Many of you bought the CD already and ordered both both black and milky clear colour versions, and they make a great set! The vinyl will be shipping in mid April, just after the Easter break.

The competition question is very simple and those who have read the recent newsletters will know the answer already!

So the question is:- What was the location for the Passengers On Trains LP cover photo? Where was the photo taken?

Please email your answer to -

We will pick the winner in two weeks time, first weekend in March!

All the best from Squire - and good luck!!!
