It's Competition Time! The Squire Fan Club Newsletter

Welcome to the latest Squire Fan Club Newsletter, and to all the new members who signed up for the weekly email!

We still have some copies of the recent release and here is a link in case you missed the emails or posts.

We are keeping the newsletter short this week as we are running a special competition for Squire Fan Club members, those of you who are subscribed to the mailing list here. So if you enjoy reading these newsletters but come direct, or follow a link through Facebook, Instagram, Twitter or Bandcamp etc. we encourage you to join the mailing list as this is the key to joining in with special competitions, receiving news first, getting 'first dibs' on limited edition issues, special merch and rare stuff!

So the competition question is:

Q.  Over the last couple of weeks we’ve been going behind the music to discover the town of New Malden and the geography behind the lyric. So the question is - what is the name of the record shop, and where is it??

Please email your answers to info@squirenet.co.uk with Competition in the Subject line, and we will pick a winner on Saturday 123rd April. Chanel is already rehearsing for the big prize draw, and you can see who wins live on screen in two weeks time!

The prize is a White Label copy of ‘The Place I Used To Live' single!

We missed having a ‘White Label’ competition last release, for ‘The Young Idea’ and  realised how may of you enjoy not only entering, but seeing Chanel pick the winner! So this time we’ re back to schedule!

Just to remind you -‘white label’ test pressings are very special hand pressed editions of the record. Only a few are made and they are used to check the quality of the 'cut' before approving for final manufacture. They weigh 75-80 grams compared to normal vinyl single 40-50 grams, are of the highest quality and fidelity, and very hard to come by. Hence they are the ultimate prized possession of avid record collectors!

Good luck with the competition!
