The first date includes the following three extraordinary artists!

The Molotovs provided the type of incendiary energy we had when we were also part of the youth explosion! They share many Squire traits as well, two siblings and a three piece band with an identifiable visual aesthetic! They’ve played over 200 gigs so expect to be exhausted!

The Electric Stars have a full on electric sound, and an amalgam of Brit Pop, the Medway garage and Manchester psych sound! Always a great performance.

The 48ks have just released their 3rd album and are similarly busy, and have played dates with Secret Affair as well! The sound is intelligent songwriting - imagine Squire meets The Coral.

We hope you have ears and dancing feet left for Squire!

The next dates are with the always impressive and super professional Secret Affair! From our first dates with them back in 1979, to our last tour with them in 2019, we always have a fantastic time, and always appreciate the opportunity to play together as the audience know us from the I-Spy days! We are also looking forward to debuting some unplayed songs from Get Smart which is enjoying an anniversary this year!

In tune with the Get Smart celebrations, we have licensed ‘Jesamine’ as part of an upcoming Cherry Red CD compilation 'Into Tomorrow - the spirit of Mod 1993 -2000' which also features tracks from The Style Council to Big Boss Man, as you can see from the sleeve,

and many impressive others amongst the 92 tracks! We believe ‘Jesamine’ is a stand out track on the compilation -  and captures Squire at our most potent in the studio! Its great to see Squire fit in, not only to earlier compilations that explore early Mod sounds, but also indie, power pop and post Brit pop mod too!

So far we have featured on the following compilations-

Millions Like Us: The Story of the Mod Revival 1977-1989, included the track WALKING DOWN THE KINGS ROAD.

Harmony In My Head: UK Power Pop & New Wave 1977-81 features DOES STEPHANIE KNOW

Kids On The Street - UK Power Pop And New Wave 1977-1981 captures the very early Squire with I WANNA BE YOUR BOYFRIEND

And now-

Into Tomorrow – The Spirit Of Mod 1983-2000 enjoys a blast of JESAMINE!

There's a Squire song for every occasion! And we hope we impress the people who are buying the CD but don't know what Squire sound like!

 All the best from Squire!
